昆明市斑銅廠有限公司籌建于1958年，是我國注冊生產(chǎn)“云南斑銅”和“烏銅走銀”工藝品的專業(yè)廠家，也是云南工藝美術(shù)行業(yè)里取得國際ISO9001質(zhì)量管理體系和ISO14000環(huán)境管理體系認(rèn)證的生產(chǎn)企業(yè)。是國內(nèi)獲得“中國工藝美術(shù)百花獎優(yōu)質(zhì)產(chǎn)品獎”的企業(yè)，公司持有的兩項(xiàng)傳統(tǒng)手工技藝——“云南斑銅”和“烏銅走銀”，被國家列入非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)保護(hù)名錄。公司生產(chǎn)的“孔雀牌”云南斑銅、烏銅走銀工藝品獲得“云南省名牌產(chǎn)品”和“云南省著名商標(biāo)”稱號。
昆明市斑銅廠有限公司一直致力于挖掘、傳承和弘揚(yáng)民族傳統(tǒng)文化技藝。公司現(xiàn)有產(chǎn)品七大類上千余花色，在國內(nèi)外展評中獲獎百余項(xiàng)（次），生產(chǎn)的多件斑銅精品被作為國家級珍品陳設(shè)于人民大會堂，并被中國工藝美術(shù)館珍寶館永久收藏。公司承制的云南斑銅工藝品常被作為為國家級禮品贈送外國元首和貴賓，1997年香港回歸，云南省人民政府委托企業(yè)創(chuàng)制的大型斑銅精品“吉祥孔雀瓶”代表云南人民，作為慶祝回歸的賀禮贈送香港特別行政區(qū)。
Founded in 1958, Kunming Variegated Copperware Factory is the only registered professional manufacturer in China dedicated to the production of Yunnan variegated copperware and silver-inlaid black copperware. It is also the only arts and crafts company in Yunnan certified by the ISO9001 quality management system and the ISO14000 environmental management system. As one of the earliest winner of China’s Arts and Crafts Award for quality products, the company holds two unique traditional skills, namely Yunnan variegated copperware and silver-inlaid black copperware, both inscribed on the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Its Peacock Brand and products were entitled famous brand and brand-name products of Yunnan respectively.
Kunming Variegated Copperware Co., Ltd. has been committed to developing traditional ethnic culture and craftsmanship. With some one thousand products under seven categories, the company boasts hundreds of national awards. Many pieces of its variegated copperware have been collected and exhibited at the Great Hall of the People and the Museum of Chinese Arts and Crafts as national treasures. Many of the company’s products are preferred national gifts for foreign state leaders and dignitaries. In 1997, a huge variegated copper vase named Auspicious Peacock was tailor-made and presented by Yunnan Provincial People’s Government to the Hong Kong SAR in celebration of its return to the motherland.
云南斑銅的歷史
遠(yuǎn)在公元前1100多年以前的殷商時(shí)代，云南就出現(xiàn)了青銅器具（劍川海門口出土），甚至還流傳到了中原地區(qū)。

從這時(shí)到公元1世紀(jì)的1000多年間，這里出現(xiàn)了燦爛的以青銅器為代表的古滇文化，成為了名副其實(shí)的“青銅王國”。迄今為止，云南出土的青銅器已近七千多件，可以分為生產(chǎn)用具、生活用具、兵器、樂器、禮器和裝飾品等6個大類90多個品種，可謂品種繁多，門類齊全，顯示了云南豐富的銅、錫資源和當(dāng)時(shí)先民高超的冶鑄技術(shù)。
斑銅制作工藝
云南青銅器具有高超的技術(shù)和考究的工藝。兩三千年前的古滇先民已經(jīng)掌握了范模鑄造、地坑范模鑄造、窮筑范模鑄造、填范鑄造和失蠟鑄造等方法，還使用了鍛打、模壓、鎏金、鍍錫、金銀錯、鑲嵌、彩繪及線刻等工藝，使得青銅器更加美觀華貴而經(jīng)久耐用，成了精美絕倫的藝術(shù)品。
